Cat Fancy ™ was a well-known monthly magazine in North America dedicated to cats, their owners, and breeders. Originally launched by Fancy Publications -later rebranded as BowTie Inc.- the magazine changed hands several times, first being acquired by Lumina Media in 2013 and then by I-5 Publishing shortly afterward.

In 2007, the magazine received 14 Certificates of Excellence at the 14th Annual Cat Writers' Association Awards Banquet, highlighting its influence in the feline community.

By late 2014, I-5 Publishing announced the discontinuation of both Cat Fancy ™ and Dog Fancy ™, replacing them with Catster and Dogster, bimonthly magazines inspired by their corresponding websites. The transition took effect in February 2015.

In 2017, Cat Fancy ™ was acquired by Belvoir Media Group, a Connecticut-based publisher specializing in niche-interest magazines, newsletters, and online content. Under its new ownership, the magazine continues to serve cat enthusiasts.
